Dallas CVB – Albuquerque, NM – 10/09/2016 – Daily Update – Brand Ambassadors- Final Day- Day 4

To the Dallas Convention & Visitors  Bureau and Do It Outdoors Team,

Today was our final day here at The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. It was a cold morning but my team was ready for the elements and to share that Dallas love. We truly had such a lovely four days here and our last day was just the cherry on top. We owned the crowds today. Everyone walking through the crowds were representing our city and that Dallas Blue was vivid amongst the sea of people. It was truly a successful closing day. We made a lasting impact on this event and everyone that flooded into those Balloon Fiesta gates knew Dallas was in the house and we do everything bigger and better! We came, we saw, we conquered!! This event was ours and we had such an amazing time making it all happen.

It was not only our last day, it was also the Ballon Fiestas closing day as well. It was a bittersweet feeling to be honest. We started out our day spinning the wheel and gathering a crowd around our booth. Giving away truly amazing gifts and prizes. No one ever left empty handed it without a smile on their face. As the day started to wind down my team and I took our message to the masses. We dove into the crowds and entrances handing each person a beautiful Dallas branded tote and sharing that warm Texas welcome. Though this has been a long four days, we really enjoyed the event and representing Dallas in this manner.

There were many kind and exciting things said today about our event and about Dallas in general. Here are just a few of the memorable quotes from our day:

Brian from Wisconsin, “Are the people of Dallas as nice and friendly as you all are?!”

Kimberly from Albuquerque,”I just wanted to thank you guys again for all the trip tips and explaining how the new City Pass worked.”

Richard from Arizona,”You guys really captured the heart and spirit of a real pre game tailgate party. This booth has the most excitement of all the places here.”

Nancy from New Mexico, “I have been trying to plan a little Christmas trip for my boyfriend and I. I think that Dallas sounds just like the place we need to be.”

Chris from Belen, “This was the highlight of my whole trip!! I won an awesome BBQ grill and my Girlfriend finally agrees on a place to visit with me. Dallas here we come!”

Dallas CVB – Albuquerque,NM – 10/08/2016 – Brand Ambassadors- Daily Updates- Day 3

To The Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau and Do It Outdoors team,

Today was a rather gloomy and cold day here at the Albuquerque, New Mexico Balloon Fiesta. Though the weather was harsh, it did not stop the thousands from enjoying this annual event. My team and I spent our morning attending to the prize wheel, taking photos of attendees, and sharing all our lovely Dallas branded prizes and giveaways! Our evening session was filled with similar activities as the morning session and lots of pop corn!! It was a great day and we made real connections. We made people excited about the city of Dallas and left a lasting impression on everyone we met.

My team and I started our day setting up the booth and getting ready for the early morning events. We had lovely gift bag giveaways, Maverick court side tickets, a signed Rangers baseball and Southwest Airlines vouchers. All these amazing giveaways really brought joy and excitement to the crowds around our booth. It truly felt like a vibrant pre game party! We had cheers and high fives over big wins on the spinning wheel and this sense of oneness with our crowd. It was a really successful day and I feel like my team is really creating a real experience for everyone that stepped into our booth. There were some memorable quotes from our day and here are just a few:

Veronique from Texas, “Dallas is my home and I am so exciting that you guys are bringing it justice and making us proud!”

Georgia from Utah, “You guys are such a fun and kind group. That you for making my kids day. If everyone on Texas is this kind, we are going very very soon!”

Kenneth from Albuquerque, “What a cool booth you guys have!! This is truly one of my favorites of the whole event.”

David from New Mexico, “I am truly shocked that Dallas is so close and I have never been. You guys are really making this place seem so exciting. I really need to go.”

Levi from California, “Is everything really bigger in Texas? I think I should take my kids there before they get older. Maybe to one of those rodeos you were talking about. Thank you.”

Dallas CVB – Albuquerque, NM- 10/07/2016 – Daily Update- Brand Ambassadors- Day 2

To the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau and Do It Outdoors team,

Today was a beautiful day here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Balloon Fiesta was in full bloom as excitement filled the air. Thousands of people flooded through the parkway and beautiful balloons whisked through the morning skyline. It was a cold morning but my team was bundled up and ready to share that warm Texas charm and Dallas love.

My team and I arrived on site at 5am. We set up our branded areas and waited for the 6am crowds to rush in. Our morning session was filled with spinning prize wheels, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, many photos, corn hole games taking place, tons of giveaways and fresh popped popcorn for all of our attendees. The second part of our day took place during the Glowdeo. Which is a nightly event in which the balloons do not take the air but they inflate and light up the night shy. Our booth was graced by ERA Rodeo World Champion Bareback Rider Justin McDaniel. He took many photos with fans and rodeo enthusiast. To be completely honest the crowd and line to for the meet and greet with Mr McDaniel was like nothing we had seen this far. It was rather incredible.

It was a great day two. My team and I are leaving a lasting and meaningful interaction with everyone we meet. The people of this New Mexico annual tradition had nothing but lovely things to say about Dallas and our event, and here are just a few quotes from our day:

Fred from Boston, “Are these the real Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders?!! I can’t believe this!! It must be a dream.”

Pauline from Albuquerque, “I heard that Dallas just got that City Pass thing. That’s kind of exciting and such a bargain for the price. I think myself and my sister might go over Christmas.”

Brenda from New York, “I have been thinking of taking my son to a Maverick’s Game. Thanks for all the tips and recommendations!”

Olivia from Arizona, “How far is the drive from here?! I think my boyfriend and I should just keep going on our little road trip!!”

Erica from Albuquerque, “You guys are so friendly and warm welcoming. Is everyone from Dallas like this?!!!”
